Training is the cornerstone  of Elite Training Academy. We offer training throughout the year and our sessions, led by either ETA instructors or our sport centric partners, is first class.  ETA looks to keep the ratio of participants to no more than 1:12.  ETA led classes require 6 or more participants as a minimum.  If enrollments for any class fall below that threshhold ETA reserves the right to either cancel the class or find another suitable option that provides same or similar instruction in another class or program.  In all cases, participants will be advised of their options prior to or at the first scheduled class.

Academy Training Programs, as well as Select teams, are supplemental programs for those players who seek additional training or play.  These sessions are not substitutes for a player's participation on a club team and in cases of a scheduling conflict the player should participate with their regular club team.

In addition to the clinics listed above we also provide Small Group & Private Training We work with individuals or groups of 4 or less on specific needs tailored to the individual. Specialized classes can be arranged.  All Small Group and Private Training is subject to field space availability.

  ETA Soccer Clinic Descriptions


Fast Feet Skills

A class designed for soccer players to improve their mobility, speed and agility on the field with and without the ball.  Emphasis is on ball control and moves.

 

 


Classic 3v3
Developing tactical play (positioning) and individual skills.

 

 


Speed & Skills Soccer

This class will be divided between soccer skills training and strength training through the use of resistance training and the combination of Plyometrics.

 

 


Finishing

The key to shooting is teaching players the correct biomechanical techniques. Players, who are able
to execute these mechanical aspects consistently with
both feet, will gain the confidence
to take shots from any angle or position under pressure.
This class will teach the player
basic finishing techniques
and is designed for the beginner, ages 7-14 years old.


Strikers Challenge

This class will focus on high pressure finishing and positioning in front of goal. It is designed for the more advanced player aged 9 -14 years old.  It will help the player develop great technique with shooting, and in turn help build confidence when in under pressure in a game situation.

 


Moves & Feints

Beat your opponent by playing offense or defense. This program is designed to develop each individual’s ability and knowledge about what feints, moves or turns should be used when and where in a game.

 


Defending

This class focuses purely on defensive strategies as an individual and as a team.

 


Power Attack – Play Offense

This class focuses purely on offensive strategies in small groups and as a team.

 


1st Touch

Develop and improve first touch and ball control.

 


Little Hotshots

In these classes, children will learn the fundamental skills of soccer through fun games in a low key environment.

 


Safe Hands – Goalkeeping I

Improve fundamental skills and confidence of Goalkeeping. Designed for goalkeepers with little experience.

 


Goalkeeping

For advanced goalkeepers who need to continue with development at a high intensity.

 


Fitness Training with Soccer
For adults who want to get fit with concentrated cardio workout while incorporating soccer techniques and skills. Bring the fun into your workout!

 


All Sports
